Bike rental in Chiang Mai is common, but the city has traffic, one-way roads, mountain routes, rain, smoke season visibility issues and police checkpoints.
Correct licence
Make sure you have the correct motorcycle licence and IDP where required.
Helmet every time
Wear a helmet and avoid unnecessary risk on Chiang Mai roads and mountain routes.
